UAB “Lavisos LEZ Terminal” was established in 2006 in the Kaunas Free Economic Zone. The company’s strategy is to provide a wide range of warehousing and logistics services, including third-party logistics (3PL) solutions, warehouse modernization, and automation. This strategy has ensured successful service development and revenue growth. The terminal’s location in Kaunas FEZ was chosen due to its strategic geographical position, tax incentives for companies in the zone, and the possibility to provide additional logistics services.

“Lavisos LEZ Terminal” is a modern warehouse covering 6,000 sq. m, equipped with the latest technologies. The facility, which required approximately 12 million LTL in investments, serves as a logistics center with an A-type customs warehouse KR0355, as well as import and export terminals. Customs brokers work on-site, handling fast cargo operations, labeling, sorting, and transshipment. The warehouse uses the most modern handling equipment, including new high-speed BT forklifts operating in very narrow aisles at 12 m height. These approximately 7-ton machines are energy-efficient, using kinetic energy to charge their batteries.

Warehouse Management

All processes in this warehouse are controlled by the “Vision 5” warehouse management system, implemented by Equinox Europe. The system guides operators on item locations and tasks using radio terminals. The advanced management system organizes tasks so that warehouse operators work in a highly coordinated manner. This ensures fast, efficient operations, reduces storage costs, and increases order fulfillment accuracy. The automated system minimizes human errors, prevents misplacement of goods, and allows easy item retrieval. Since all information is stored in the system, clients can track their goods in real time and monitor all operations.
